WATERBUS

You can easily reach any of Venice’s other islands by taking a waterbus from the nearby Piazzale Roma, choosing between the colourful buildings, fishermen and lace-makers of Burano island, Torcello island’s thousand year old cathedral and many terraced restaurants, the more well-known Murano island, famed for its glassmaking and Glass Museum or even venture to the edge of the lagoon and check out the Lido di Venezia beach resort which faces out into the Adriatic Sea.

FROM S. LUCIA TRAIN STATION

On exiting the train station, head left down the Fonadamenta Santa Lucia. Turn right across the canal on the Ponte Scalzi. Continue onto Calle Lunga delle Chioverette. Turn left at Calle Bergami. Follow the road to the left at Campo San Simeon Profeta. Turn right at Salizada della Chiesa. A final left will take you onto Lista Vecchia dei Bari. (Total 7 minutes by foot).

FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT

Take the bus, to Piazzale Roma.

BY CAR

Follow signs to Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto parking terminals.

FROM PIAZZALE ROMA

Take vaporetto line 1 and get off at Riva di Biasio. Head back down Sestiere Santa Croce. Take a left turn onto Calle Correra. Turn left again onto Lista Vecchia dei Bari. You will find the hotel on this street. (Total 3 minutes by foot).

ALTERNATIVELY

Exit Piazzale Roma onto Sestiere Santa Crociere. Cross over the bridge and continue down Sestiere Santa Crociere. Take a right close to the end of this street onto Calle Lunga delle Chioverette. Turn left at Calle Bergami. Follow the road to the left at Campo San Simeon Profeta. Turn right at Salizada della Chiesa. A final left will take you onto Lista Vecchia dei Bari. (Total 12 minutes by foot).
